third space is a concept referring to social surroundings separate from the two usual social environments of 'home' and 'work'. The first space is the home and those that we live with; the second space is work, where many of us spend most of our time ; the third space then is neither ‘home’ nor ‘work’ but somewhere in between, a place of community and of likeminded people. For us, that third space facilitates and fosters broader, more creative interaction
